Being a natural disinfectant, vinegar would work best to remove the mildew. Once adequately washed, it’s time to wipe away the residue with a piece of unwanted cloth.

This is to be followed by cleansing the filter, and the location of the filter depends upon the make and model. Once the two key elements are dealt with, it’s time to wash the inside of the washing machine, i.e., the drum upon which clothes are placed. Firstly, add vinegar to the spray bottle and spray down to every place. When finished, clean everything with a microfiber cloth. This task takes its end.

Next, we have the seals around the door, where mildew, hair, and cotton yarn is common. This is an intelligent way to clean and a super quick process, hardly taking half an hour or so. However, running the washing machine on a complete cycle and then waiting for an hour would be your best bet for a thorough cleansing.
